The Christ Church Choir

Walnut Street Music boasts the Christ Church Choir, a semi-professional adult choral ensemble open to all. 

This ensemble sings weekly during worship services, offers monthly choral evensongs, and presents an annual concert featuring masterworks such as the Fauré Requiem, Pergolesi Stabat Mater, Schubert Mass in G, Vivaldi Gloria, and more. 

Directed by Jonathan A. Poe, the Christ Church Choir sings difficult choral works weekly learning much about performance practice and interpretation beyond the printed music to put into practice in worship at Christ Church.
